Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Hytale Ban List ("the Service", "we", "us"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, you may not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

Hytale Ban List is a community safety platform that allows Hytale server operators to register servers, report banned players, and share ban information across the community. Players may look up ban records and submit appeals.

3. Server Operator Responsibilities

Server operators who register with the Service and submit ban records ("Operators") agree to:

  • Only submit accurate, good-faith ban records based on genuine rule violations.
  • Not submit bans for competitive, personal, or discriminatory reasons unrelated to community safety.
  • Maintain the security of their API key and immediately notify us if it is compromised.
  • Ensure their server rules and ban practices comply with applicable laws.

4. Prohibited Use

You may not use the Service to:

  • Submit false, misleading, or defamatory ban records.
  • Harass, target, or discriminate against individuals.
  • Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or abuse the API beyond its intended use.
  • Circumvent rate limits or access controls.
  • Violate any applicable local, national, or international law.

5. Ban Records & Appeals

Ban records submitted by Operators are shared on the platform as-is. We do not independently verify each ban. Players who believe a ban is incorrect may submit an appeal through the platform. Appeals are reviewed by our moderation team. Approved appeals result in the ban record being marked as revoked.

6. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of ban records. We are not responsible for decisions made by server operators based on information from this platform.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Hytale Ban List and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service.

8. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access to the Service for any user or server at our discretion, including for violations of these Terms.

9. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
